The Faculty of Security, Logistics and Management (FSLM) is a partially independent (with its own budget, human resource policies and independently managed) organizational structure being a part of the Military University of Technology in Warsaw (Poland). It was established in 2019 on the basis of the Faculty of Logistics and continues the tradition of the Institute of Military Technical Security Systems, which was founded in 1974. The essence of FSLM operations is to provide higher education and technical training in the wider context of logistics, security and management, as the areas which are mutually interwoven and exert an integral impact on the functioning of the economy, the state and international organisations.
The main ambition of FSLM is to strive for the development of competence within the international logistics framework, sharing the practical experience acquired over many years, and implementing a wide range of international activities for NATO member states and partners.
FSLM educates NATO personnel and partners taking into account established NATO standards but also on the basis of long-term teaching experience which includes training thousands of students annually over a period of several decades. Using its potential related to quality certification, FSLM does not intend to stop at just implementing standards related to education within NATO but also aims to utilise good practices from other quality management systems.
